Pink crackle on purple
My sixth mini manicure from a Nails Inc. bar. And second one this week! As you can tell, I'm loving their special offer of filing and varnish for £5. It's so worth it for beauty, therapy, and exciting nail effects like Crackle, Magnetic or Glitter. I've yet to try the latter from Nails Inc., so I'll be blogging excitedly next month.

Crackle on crackle
Had some beauty & therapy at Nails Inc. with a black Crackle on silver manicure. Then I wondered what would two crackles on a nail be like? So I added Barry M Nail Effects pink to one nail per hand.

Beautiful iPod makeover
Despite getting new Sony headphones recently, I couldn't resist these gorgeous purple limited edition Couture SA-700 Vintage ones by RHA. Designed & engineered in Britain. Pro sound quality. I ♥ them. I also fitted a Gelaskin called Shore to personalise, protect & beautify my 3rd gen Apple iPod.

Milky Way nails!
I learnt this style from www.beautylish.com. They call it Galaxy, which is nice, but I wanted to give it another name of my own choice. It's my first attempt and I'm pleased with the outcome. I even got compliments from some girls working at a Nails Inc bar. I started with a base coat, then applied black polish, a bright blue varnish with a make-up sponge, pink polish with a brush and dabbed it with a make-up sponge. Finally, a glitter top coat for the stars. A Milky Way on my nails!

One nail layered
Orange and purple. It's one of the colour schemes in the innovative Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique Layering System, designed to help you easily mix two colours to create a third. I layered orange over purple on my middle fingers. All 3 colours look gorgeous. The new colour reminds me of Models Own Pinky Brown. The orange is a bit sheer. Even with two coats I can see the free edge (minor quibble). The purple went on well on my thumb, though the tip of the little finger got a bit messy. Overall it's not bad, I quite like it. And it could be my nearly ok manicure skills. Someone who's better at manicures should achieve better results.
